Synopsis

The collage of mono-acts intertwines themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the courage to defy societal norms, offering a rich exploration of different facets of womanhood

The first act takes the audience through a woman’s life, sharing moments of joy, fear, love, and judgment. From cherished connections to the pain of scrutiny and societal expectations, she reveals her struggles and quiet resilience.

The second act introduces a carefree woman learning to ride a horse. Her story celebrates the thrill of independence and rebellion, as she chooses to live on her terms without worrying about societal judgment. Her journey symbolizes breaking free from constraints and embracing the joy of self-discovery.

The third act centres on a woman revisiting her midlife crisis. She candidly recounts the societal and mental pressures of aging and the loss of perceived “prime years.” Despite these struggles, she emerges with courage and grace, embracing her journey and redefining what it means to thrive in her age with experience.
